Studying

Make studying 10x more fun with these amazing tips!

I get it, studying can be super boring and tiring. Unfortunately, it’s a chore that many of us have to go through on a daily basis if we want to get good grades. Luckily, there are some things you can do to make studying more fun and maybe even enjoyable! (gasp)

Think about your reason

Before you start studying, think about why you want to study in the first place. Do you want to get good grades? Get a good job? Get into your dream uni? You can even create a sort of vision board and place it near your desk to remind yourself of these reasons!

Reframe your mindset

You can use your reasons to reframe your mindset about studying. Think of studying as a privilege, as a means to achieving a dream goal. This will motivate you to study and think of studying as a fun experience!

Use fun study methods

Of course, it’s important to make studying fun by using study methods you enjoy! Interactive apps like quizlet, kahoot, blooket can make studying seem like a game. Alternatively, use high-yield study methods like flashcards or past papers, since these allow you to spend less time on studying 🙂

Romanticise it!

As well as this, try to make the process of studying itself more enjoyable. Decorate your desk and light candles to make the atmosphere nicer. You can also listen to music while studying or make your notes look aesthetic! Remember not to go overboard, though: the point of studying is to learn something, so don’t spend too much time making your notes look pretty.

Just start studying

This might sound silly, but if you just start studying you’ll find that you actually enjoy it! Most of the time, studying seems more boring than it really is. Tell yourself to study for just 5 minutes, and you’ll find that you’ll want to study for longer!
