5 things to do to make your spring break productive

For a lot of students, spring break is all about relaxing and going out with friends. However, it’s also important to stay on top of your studies! Here are a few things you can do to spend your spring break in a productive (but still fun) manner!

Table of Content
  • Set some goals
  • Make a schedule
  • Study!
  • Create some new habits
  • Take care of yourself

Set some goals

I’ve said this many times before, but setting clear goals is one of the most productive things you can do. Decide on 2-3 things you want to accomplish during the spring break, and try to work towards that. Alternatively, you can choose an area of your life to work on, like studying or health.

Make a schedule

The next thing you should do is create a schedule. You can do this online, through apps like Google Calendar, or in a notebook. Without a schedule, you probably won’t be able to get everything done. A plan for each day can help you stay motivated and organised, without getting sidetracked!

Study!

If you’re a student, one of the things you should be doing during spring break is studying! You can use this time to prepare for end-of-year exams, like me, or revise what you learnt in the past term. Obviously, don’t spend too much time studying, but try to go through your flashcards every day or do a few practice papers.

Create some new habits

You can also use this opportunity to start some new healthy habits. Decide on a habit or two you’d like to start, and use this guide to help you begin your new habit! Remember to start your habit off small, and slowly build it up as you go along so that you don’t lose motivation at the beginning!

Take care of yourself

Finally, the one everyone’s been waiting for! Self-care is super important, and spring break is the perfect time to destress and take care of yourself. Take this time to eat some healthy food, exercise, or go out with friends – whatever you prefer 🙂
