50 fun things to do instead of mindlessly scrolling

On average, an American will spend almost 8 hours a day on a screen. Much of that includes mindlessly scrolling through social media. There are a lot of much more productive things to do during the day! If you want to decrease your screentime, check out some of these things to do instead of scrolling!

  1. Exercise – go for a walk, run, cycle, or go to the gym!
  2. Journal about how your day went
  3. Organise and clean up your desk
  4. Watch a TED talk
  5. Make a playlist
  6. Reach out to a friend you haven’t talked to in a while
  7. Unsubcribe from useless mailing lists (mine is super useful though!)
  8. Declutter your files and Google Drive
